I'm learning more about Women Empowerment right now, and in particular what I'm wondering about is: What do women have to empower?. I was researching this question online and this news item caught my attention because it talks about Mexico launching national campaign against human trafficking. I chose this item to read because I know that this situation is the top problem in the world. The title tells makes you think tons of things like for example that they want to end this problem. There are other countries who traffics a lot. "14 April 2010 - Mexico today took the lead in putting human trafficking on the global agenda by launching its own national version of the United Nations "Blue Heart" campaign against human trafficking." The quote I chose here is basically saying that they are come with an organization to deal with the Mexican Traffickers. They want to improve. It is almost like the United Nations in the USA. They want to make their own version. I think this is strong because it makes me wonder about how all the time the traffickers have to hide from the police. Their poor family are suffering. If they get caught they are in jail or they die. They get a lot of money. I want to know out of the entire world how many traffickers are in the world.

How Benazir Bhutto became Prime Minister of Pakistan? What was special with her?
The only thing she had is
She was being empowered. She had the best education , she was independent in choosing her life partner, her career, follow ambitions to make difference.

" She was the daughter of Ex-Prime Minister" so that she was already empowered. The question come here is how to empower a daughter of a Mason, how to empower a daughter of poor lady who sell her body only for survival. How to give her the inner and circulation motivation that she can make the difference, she needs help, she needs dignity as a human being.

How to empower a daughter of special person. not every woman need special attention
Only those need to be empowered who are kept in the state of ignorance by Landlord, feudal, corrupt politicians.

World resources are required to be invested on the right people through the right custodians.

I would imagine that this mission is providing WomenWatch as a base to begin looking for resources for your evidence report. If you know of something which isn't on the feed then I would say it's perfectly acceptable and even more important to report this in your evidence! :)

RIGHTS-SOUTH AFRICA: Women Celebrate Gains

By Gumisai Mutume
JOHANNESBURG, Aug 10 (IPS) - Women groups in South Africa have celebrated their achievements by marching to the capital Pretoria to demand for more rights.
''I feel very proud of South Africans because over four years we have made encouraging gains,'' said Speaker of Parliament Frene Ginwala.

Ginwala, however, said the celebration did not mean the struggle for gender equality was over.

The National Women's Day, which fell on Sunday this year, has been set aside after the 1994 elections to honour women. The day itself is a milestone representing the gains for equality women in South Africa have achieved.

During the ages women have successfully fought for the right to vote, they fought against the extension of the notorious pass laws to women under apartheid, demanded and attained legal abortions and have risen to the ranks of parliament.

Women now make up 25 percent of legislators compared to the 3 percent figure during apartheid and are aiming to raise their profile at next year's general election.

''Today, with the help of our women and their crucial contribution and support, we have achieved a progressive constitution along with a gender-sensitive government which insists on visible women's representation,'' deputy arts minister Bridgette Maban Dla told 10,000 women who marched to Union Buildings in Pretoria Sunday.

"In recent years, surgical techniques to reverse FGM have been developed by gynecologists such as Dr. Pierre Foldes and Dr. Marci Bowers. Techniques can include ablating scar tissue, reconstructing the labia, and drawing the internal part of the clitoris outward to compensate for clitoral excision (Conant, 2009)."

Is this a problem if we talk about something that is important for women rights in the world but is not in women watch ?

I didn´t find anything relevant in WomenWatch about the more than 420 women and girls that have been killed in Ciudad Juarez Mexico. To read about it go here and choose your language http://www.mujeresdejuarez.org/
Now go to http://www.petitiononline.com/NiUnaMas/ and sign the petition to end violence against women in Ciudad Juarez Chihuahua.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
