Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

It's easy to forget how easy it can be to help the world, even if you aren't helping any people but yourself and your family. So as I stumble up ways you can help the world I'll post them here! Please write back your thoughts and opinions, as well as any information that someone else could find useful!

The aerogarden is a very expensive (like 300$ expensive) gadget. But it looks to be well worth the price. Apparently it pretty much takes care of it's self, adding precise amounts of water, and light (provided by the actual machine) Downside is, A the price and B it has to be shipped from Canada. I wanted to get one of these for mothers day, but since it was meant to be a surprise, my mom didn't know that- so she's planning on just starting a regular pot-and-soil herb garden. Which I'm going to work to prevent, since my wh*** family has a brown thumb. But whether we do start a pot-and-soil, or an aerogarden I'll update you with photo's on how it's going.

Another good idea is to maybe start putting up some Philodendrons around the house, their a great source of detail and easy to maintain. Or try investing in some Bamboo, even easier to take care of. House plants means more plants to clean the air, even if you aren't doing it for the world, house plants are appealing to the eye, and can cleanse unwanted smells (such as that of nicotine).

And do you realize that if you collect and recycle enough water bottles and soda cans you can easily get up to 40$ at your local recycle center? Why throw away money? Recycling is a good investment! and It's pretty easy. What my family does is we have two containers, we just picked them up at wall-mart or target (can't remember which) for like 2 to 5 dollars; then we put garbage bags inside them. To make more room to fill each bag fully we crush both bottles and cans and separate them. When they are full, we just pack them in the back of the car, take them down to the center and get money. If you remember to rinse your soda cans, you won't have a problem with ant's either! So why not just do it?

Building a Raised Bed

(keep in mind that some of these videos may demonstrate a fairly shallow depth...remember you want deep beds 16-24" which requires additional support)

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
