EVOKING in schools - even without computers
I'm interested in talking to teachers who are doing, or would like to do, something like EVOKE in the classroom, even if you don't have computers for all the kids. I wrote down a scenario for how this might start in my EVOKE blog.

You might want to host an unconference in your classroom. Think of it as a spontaneous network of interested people - but in a physical space.
Fellow agent Kevin DiVico started a discussion thread about holding an EVOKE unconference and posted some background information about such events.
Some unconferences like CrisisCamp are solutions-based while others like ChangeCamp are more conversational in structure.
I'm curious to hear other ideas! Its a great question...

Thanks for the idea, Mita! I'm not a classroom teacher now, but I have participated in some unconferences. I'm going to add the idea to the "Calling All Teachers" page on the EVOKE wiki to see if someone wants to pick it up. Are you interested in being a resource for a teacher who might want to try it?

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. public servants
