Finding Agents and Evidence by Continent, Region and Issue
I appreciate that we can search by country, but it would be very helpful to search Agents by region of the world or continent. It would make it easier to seek out evidence and agents from regions of the world in which we are trying to evoke solutions.
Also - I am wondering if is possible for each Agent to self tag themselves from a standard set of "issue" tags. For example: energy, farming, education.
It would have to be a standard set of tags to work -- but it would REALLY facilitate finding people to collaborate with.

Ayala, I totally agree.
I proposed a couple of missions on my blog dealing with localization; since then I'm also thinking of ways to present visually every evoke agent's (rough) location, on a shared Google map. I'll let you know, if interested, when something will be ready to test.
I'll probably discuss feasibility issues in some other forum thread, not to pollute yours with nerdy stuff :)

Hi Ayala, Nathaniel was much faster than me in creating the users' map, as he can directly access EVOKE's database.

Unfortunately, that map isn't always very up to date, as Ning only allows a data export every X hours. However, you can guarantee that map will be anywhere from 0-48 hours out of date, so it shouldn't be too bad.

I agree! I think it would be great to be able to search for friends by region. This could foster diversity in my list of contacts. Great suggestion! The suggestion to search by issue, too, is also excellent insofar as it allows people to network around particular problems and their potential solutions.
