So many ethnic enclaves in Los Angeles suffer from a lack of access to healthy food. Yes, the communities can get food, but it is often fast food. How could you not go for fast food, when fast food is everywhere on the streets?
Not only that, but markets with access to a variety of fruits and vegetables do not always want to go in to poorer neighborhoods. While we need to focus on getting food to our communities, we also need to make sure WHAT food we are providing them access to.
