pass it on

All of us must have had the experience of sitting in front of our grandparents, listening to them telling us about their wisdom and knowledge they learnt from their lives, listening, as they pass down the knowledge to us that we won’t forget. As time goes by when it’s my turn to pass on our knowledge, I will make sure our next generation won’t forget about them.

I will tell them the stories of our ancestors and the history of human. Humans have created a strong and stable society we have… Continue

local indigenous

In nowadays, where life is surrounded with numerous sciences, people are beginning to lose the wisdom of the expertise their ancestors have gained in life experiences, and may even find those wisdoms silly or somewhat “useless in life.” Yet, we do not realize that a lot of knowledge we learn in school or find in textbooks is the gifts our ancestors left for us----their wisdom, their expertise.

Thousands of years ago when science isn’t available, people already had the knowledge of… Continue

The government could use the Ushahidi in a very useful way as well. During the summer, a lot of people like to go swimming in the rivers or streams, yet lots of them drowned due to whirl pools or the lack of energy. And as for traffic problems, lots of people died of car accidents each year. To prevent these tragedies from repeating themselves, the government could get more police officers to patrol these places where the most accidents happen to stop these things from happening.

It… Continue

Being in harmony with the environment

Being in harmony with the environment means to cherish what the environment provides us. Because we have unlimited desire yet few resources, the destruction we cause now will have a long term, everlasting effect. And most of all, the environment isn’t only for us humans but for all species on earth. And we only have one mother earth.

Everyone has desires, yet they’re unlimited. And because of these desires, humans take more and more from the environment in order to improve living… Continue

Energy- A hundred years from now

Can you imagine what the world would be like without cars, scooters or MRTs because of the depletion of energy? The system of human society would be completely ruined. It would be a total chaos. To prevent all this disaster from happening, scientists started brainstorming about the possibilities to solve the energy crisis. And a hundred years later, the situation of energy crisis is solved. After years of thinking, scientists finally came up with an idea of using the techniques of Nano… Continue

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
