A crash course in changing the world.
power. In developing countries and for those who’ve suffered a natural disaster, sometimes the benefit of “all in one” solution can be better over the medium to long-term than a device that just makes power.
As a result I came up with a product that goes a bit off-topic for this challenge, but still may of use to the community.
The device I had in mind builds on the original designs for a PCG to hold 30W, but it also incorporates a Solid State Chassis for generating heat, a coloured LED Lamp for navigating at night, and possibly a GPS Beacon – all of this is in addition to the normal SD Card or USB ports, of course. There would also be two separate power gauges for the storage medium, and its additional functions. This product could then be used not just by regular people but surveyors, extreme sports enthusiasts (such as climbers) and campers, and people who naturally live out in the wilderness that need to know where everything that can help them survive is located. Future models may also incorporate a video camera that could be used to record a log for use in claiming health insurance if you find yourself lost in an unfamiliar place and need to doc**ent your ordeal...
I’ve already prepared a business plan and will be designing a 3D model after the competition.
