DR. MUHAMMAD YOUNIS (SOCIAL BANKING & MICRO FINANCE GURU)
Professor Muhammad Younis a famous for his innovative idea of social banking and banking for the poor started from Bangladesh with the name of Grameen Bank. Dr. Muhammad Younis is one of the great people in the history who has challenged the conventional ideas and who is tackling the world’s biggest problems with creative and entrepreneurial solutions. I am working on graduation strategy of social safety net beneficiaries and have idea to link the able bodies recipients of social cash transfer with the micro credit initiatives. My thrust for knowledge on micro credit provided me opportunity to study the GRAMEEN model. During the research on social banking I explored Dr. Muhammad Younis in detail. I think person like him has all the evoke powers with 100% score on each 10 collaboration, courage, creativity, entrepreneurship, local insight, knowledge share, resourcefulness, spark, sustainability and vision. Hats Off to Him and now He is my Hero.
He initiated the concept of entrepreneurship for the poor and especially for the women. He has set stage for practical examples where women grew out of nothing and they are enjoying very good entrepreneur positions in Bangladesh. His vision of seeing the poor as potential and active business man has brought revolution in Bangladesh and his model has been evaluated and replicated all over the world. He is committed to fight poverty through poor people and he has achieved enormous success in his goal.

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal.
