A crash course in changing the world.
Typically as a cadet, you lend people items (cleaning supplies, uniform items, accessories) and in return when you need something they give you one of those items. This trade system is almost a daily occurrence in the barracks as I may trade food for materials to help with cadet activities or let someone use my foot-powder to prevent blisters and in return I get starch to make my duty uniform. This currency works, however, sometimes you may not get your end of the deal and it can be unreliable. But, overall it's a good system.
