A crash course in changing the world.
I'm eating a meal in a small Lexington County restaurant. The food is not only cheap, healthy, but it was all locally grown and raised and the majority of the cost of the food went back to the local farmers to assist with continuing their operations. The meal is grilled chicken the poultry raised in the county, while the vegetable are from no more than ten minutes away. The wheat bread was made from wheat harvested locally. All food in the restaurant that is not eaten is composted and given to the farmers to spread in the fields to give nutrients back to the soil.
