Future dinner
My life is becoming increasing multinational. My future meal in March of 2020 I will be an older woman and hopefully I will be sharing a large dinner with many of my "children" ( see my photos ) in Nigeria.These children will have gone from attending school on empty bellies , wearing broken shoes into adults that have small home gardens and clean safe water for the family. Hopefully my compound will be the meeting place for a weekend get together and brain storming session. We will be eating pot luck style with a mixture of native Nigerian foods ( minus the pepper for me ) and a bit of America. The next generation of my children will be playing soccer and baseball while the first generation cook outdoors and share news. Hopefully the meal will also be a mini business meeting where we run through the needs of the group and maybe we have a clothing swap for the kids to recycle what each has outgrown. The day can be spent using solar ovens to bake breads and cookies for my children and a grill for goat and chicken. There will be lemon aide to drink.

Fourth of July on the Lake
This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The meal
It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat.
