Learning About Social Innovation
One of the innovation tips that stood out to me was...
"What you have matters more than what you lack (If you’ve got a bicycle, consider what you can build based on that, rather than worrying about not having a car, a truck, a metal shop.)"
This is particularly relevant to 1st World Society today considering we are living more and more out of what we don't have, relying on lines of credit and living beyond our means. We are looking to add to societies rather than using what is there in an innovative way. In fact, the same can be said of our own lives - first we need to make sure that we are living out this principal ourselves before we can even imagine being an innovator in others areas.

Fourth of July on the Lake
This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
