I wake up in a room of
my-friend-and-mentor-Mark’s apartment. I’ve been going around the world meeting local communities where the educational and performance projects me, Mark and the rest of our group of friends compositors educators performers helped to start just few years ago have already reached most of the objectives we decided together.
The research I’ve started in November 2008 “Stories for social
change – A narrative approach to understand society and design a more desirable one” have led me to unexpected success in helping people of any age to use their imagination for creating a better world with their own hands.
I spend most of my time educating children and young women/men to
explore their desires for change. Using the metaphor of "stories", they play the game of re-imagining society, of being heroes of this change themselves, of writing their own stories, their relationship with themselves, their family, their community and the wh*** world. I love watching them being so enthusiast and full energy, discussing in groups how to solve social problems of their and others' communities. =)
They remind me of my children, which I will see again tomorrow.
Soon I'll bring them with me in some of my trips, they desire to help other children to invent stories! =)
Wup! I leave my thoughts for a second... I've got a Mind-Message from Alchemy...
"Tokyo? Yes! We need the community to imagine new ways!
Of course, I'm coming!
I'll bring my kids, too! ^___^"
