Towards a ‘free from hunger’ Jordan in 2015
In Jordan, the presence of Takiet Um Ali with a Vision of "Towards a ‘free from hunger’ Jordan in 2015" has been a great support for those of us who want to make sure that their money does not only feed the poor but also goes beyond to empower the poor. I am an annual contributor to Takiet Um Ali and have added my company "Structure Consulting" to the list of contributors. I added in our articles of Association that Structure Consulting should annually contribute 2.5% of our retained earnings to the Takiet and have even a line item in our accounting system allocated to that.
I am an active member in many NGO's in Jordan, four of which are related to ecosystems and social entrepreneurship, The first is The Marine Conservation Society of Jordan (www.jreds.org ), the Royal Botanic Gardens, the Young Entrepreneurs Association (www.yea.com.jo ) (and facebook) and most recently, the Jordan Green Building Council (www.jordangbc.org ) (check it on faceook)

Fourth of July on the Lake
This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The meal
It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat. The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
