Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

What Happens Next - IMAGINE

EVIDENCE TAG:
IMAGINE10
STATUS:

Alchemy wants YOU to write the official EVOKE manifesto.

It's January 1, 2021 - and the secret is out.

Thanks to the Pearl River Flu outbreak, the EVOKE network is working in the global spotlight, instead of the shadows. And now the world wants to know more.

  • What are the goals of the network? How does it work?
  • Who are the members? Why do they join?
  • What are the ethics of being a good EVOKE agent?
  • Why does the EVOKE network like to create mystery and spectacle? How does creating curiosity -- and sparking awe, wonder and imagination -- help the EVOKE network achieve its goals?

To help answer the world's questions, Alchemy wants YOU to create an EVOKE manifesto. The manifesto should clearly and creatively explain the mission and the modus operandi of the EVOKE network to the rest of the world.

Your objective:

Create an EVOKE manifesto. Tell the world -- in a blog post, a video or a drawing/photo essay -- exactly how the EVOKE network works, and why.

This objective is worth +33 vision.

The EVOKE network is all about changing the world. They relay thier messages through various forms of world problems and have online blogs where everyday people can post and tell them thier ideas. I think this might be one of the most effetive strategies in solving these problems.

Comment by Abigail Griffin on April 22, 2014 at 9:12pm

The EVOKE Network is a platform anyone can use to gain knowledge about an array of critical issues that are currently negatively impacting the world. Through the information provided on the site and the further research members conduct they are able to make changes in their own lives in order to adjust these negative impacts into positive ones. Furthermore, after the members of EVOKE make changes they are able to tell their family, friends, and even strangers about the issues that are occurring and what can be done to alleviate these social problems. The end goal of the EVOKE Network is to see these issues resolved and the quality of life increase around the world.

evoke missions should teach us how to tackle a problem. maybe each student could pick an individual focus area so they could explore a lot of options and solutions to the problem

The manifesto should be about what kids like me can do to stop these problems.

Comment by Whit Blass on December 15, 2012 at 2:37am

I think the manifesto should be about how we cna try to unite people in poverty stricken\violent areas.

Comment by Arthur Sigfried Miltner on December 15, 2012 at 12:12am

The evoke mission is to solve the major problems of the world in a logical way. The network is used to help spread prosperity in the world. Evoke's agents use their minds to come up with solutions for the world's problems and then solve them.

Comment by Olivia Koenig on December 14, 2012 at 12:13pm
The evoke missions are about trying to solve major problems in the world in a logical, though provoking way. These missions help us see that the US isn't the only place that has problems. The evoke missions inspire us and others to make a difference.

I think the next evoke should be about deforestation and desertification and about endangered species and trying to save them. Also about rotating crops so the land isn't stripped of the nutrients.
Comment by Brian Adam Smith on December 14, 2012 at 3:08am

The evoke manifesto is that evoke is just a problem solving website that helps people and countries in need of the worlds help.

Comment by NaamaErez on December 14, 2012 at 2:55am

I think the next season should contain things like poverty, and money issues but also including global and enviromental issues.

Comment by Brian Hill on December 14, 2012 at 2:33am

You were born with two major parts: your body and your mind. Your body is what you interact with. Your mind is what determines those interactions. Choose the path of selfishness and live with extreme guilt, or choose the path of service and selflessness, and be free of your sins.

Comment by Sydney Koeneman on December 14, 2012 at 2:25am

I think the manifesto should be like so...
The Agents should go to their home town and help people there and encourage others to help.

Comment by madalyn lieberman on December 14, 2012 at 2:22am

I think the next series should contain a mixture of things. Poverty situations, disaster preperation, hands on volenteering, and other real world situations. All of this will teach us more about our community.

Comment by Peter Thomas Duncan on December 14, 2012 at 2:11am
I think the next series should include real life situtins where us kids and people discuss how you could help that if needed to be helped in the future. This will help the community and the country for sure.
Comment by Hannah Rose Fountain on December 13, 2012 at 11:07pm

I think the manifesto should be something like this....
God gave you two hands, one for helping yourself and one for helping others. He will ask you not what you did for you, but for others. And that is our goal:to help you and to inspire you to help others. Always use both hands for the world, don't use one or the other. We are Evoke, and we devote ourselves to others....you can do the same.

-EVOKE- -AN ORGANIZATION FOR CHANGE- We are evoke. We help YOU solve your OWN problems. Our goal is not to give you the materials that you need to survive the next month. Our goal is to give you the SKILLS that you need to survive for a lifetime. We are here to inspire those who need it.
-"If you have a problem, evoke it"-

Comment by Grant Reeder on December 13, 2012 at 9:17pm

I think the next series should include more poverty like topics and some natural problems contributing to deaths throughout Africa and other third world countries.

Comment by Lily Davis on December 13, 2012 at 2:55am

The next series should include more ideas about how we could get involved and be affected by the topic.

Comment by Joshua Bennafield on December 12, 2012 at 11:34pm
I think the next series should show real life situations being fixed and how we could get involved. Also it should show one of the Evoke members joins Alpha because of a family member.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
