A crash course in changing the world.
The Evoke network is a dedicated group of individuals working towards a common purpose to create positive social change not only in our communities, but in the world. Every person involved is a change agent that creates solutions to solve the problems that we are dealing with on a daily basis.

I would ask the teachers union in America to contact their students and their parents to inform them of the crisis and what they can do to combat it. Teachers have a connection to millions of people and are a source of knowledge that people will trust and listen to.

In the year 2088 I would like to pass on that we only have been given one environment so it is our job to preserve and protect it. We cannot trash our communities and our planet and expect that nothing negative will result from it. We must step up and do whatever is necessary to keep our planet as pure and beautiful as it has always been.

A local crisis in North Potomac, MD could be power outages. We have had a problem with power outages during every storm. This causes people to go without electricity for days at a time. When this happens during a winter snowstorm, people are without heat for a week at a time.
I would want to know how much electricity lines we have that are not underground. Moving all power lines underground would eliminate this problem.

The next big challenge that the EVOKE network can try to tackle is equality among everyone, no matter what race or background you come from. It can start this in the US. Even though we are further along than most countries, there is still a lot of work to be done to improve. Every kid in school should do this to create change from a young age. I enjoyed using Urgent Evoke and becoming a change agent.

The most important aspect of crisis communication is maintaining the public trust. Once you lose that, it will be extremely difficult to prevent people from panicking and losing control all together.

I think the most important lesson is that when you give people a choice between two things, they will usually chose the better option. You have to give people a chance to show that they can make the right decisions.

Venmo is an app that allow you to connect your phone to your bank account to make payments to your friends electronically. My roommates and I all downloaded Venmo and have been using it to pay each other for meals, groceries, etc. It has worked really well. The future of money will be more social than its ever been before.

I think the future of money is Bitcoin. Bitcoin uses peer-to-peer technology to operate with no central authority or banks; managing transactions and the issuing of bitcoins is carried out collectively by the network. Through many of its unique properties, Bitcoin allows exciting uses that could not be covered by any previous payment system.
