The Shadow of The Puppetmistress

I did decide to shadow whom i think is a great social innovator and that person is JaneMcGonigal. I wrote a nice half weird message on facebook and got added. I already followed her on twitter and her blog.
Beeing a designer of games myself i think or are convinced that games can change the world. H*** ludens, playing man, is an old concept. man at play, performing ritualistic systems to test oneself. In that u can include combat or you can play tic tac toe. You can view game and…

More on Improved Education and shareing knowledge

This is a continuation of my erlier post on education. Its an example of how to use techdriven learningplattforms.
End‐user semantic‐aware applications are, by and large, still in very early
development. One early‐stage application that illustrates some of the potential of
semantic‐aware applications, however, for interest‐driven learning is Twine. Twine is a
social network organized around topics of interest. Members join a “twine” on…

learning from the extremes

Well now this is interesting. The need for education, the need for an education that matters, the meens to get one is of outmost importance. I found this evidence.I also work with an organisation that just recently field tested MLE mobile learning environment, wich is a way of using cellphones as a collaborative platform of learning. Knowledge and the shareing of it is what created soceity. It belongs to… Continue

The Problem of Plastic

Until recently i was working for Greenpeace. One of my main concerns was our use of plastics. When i went to P***et in Thailand i got really upset by what i saw. I mean, i was out diving at the reefs outside Phi Phi Island and, there at the depth of 12 meters i saw more plastics, bottles, bags, cameras, more plastic then you find in your local cornerstore.… Continue

Inhabitat » Plastic Concrete: Building Bricks Made From Landfill Waste NOT a good idea.

BUT the idea is not so stupid. No idea is really stupid, we just need to improve it. Can we make another type of concrete? Can we do it sustainably? Of course we…

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
