The Next Evoke Fights Corruption

I think that the next Evoke should touch on corruption which is a major cause of poverty in third world countries. We should build Evoke communities in these developing countries and make use of Evoke as a platform to create change within the socio-political landscape of the government in those said countries. We can start in my country, the Philippines, where we have just elected Noynoy Aquino to be the next president to lead our country free from the shackles of its traditional… Continue

Social Networking to Battle Pandemic

I guess that the simplest yet most effective group that I can tap for a pandemic are my Facebook and Twitter groups. Social networking has become a vital part of our lives be it for entertainment, information, communication, etc. I think that tapping on these networks, I can reach the most people in a matter of seconds. These people will in turn send the vital information to their own networks to create a web for information dissemination.…

New Manila Bay City

Manila has been known as the "Pearl of the Orient" and Manila Bay's sunset is one of the best in the world. Manila Bay was a long time ago, one the Asia's best natural harbor and yet in recent years the bay has been a sore more than a sight to behold. But recent efforts of the Philippine people aim to restore Manila to its former glory and once again put it under the world's spotlight with the development and construction of the new Manila Bay Entertainment City. In 2020, Asia will have its… Continue

Stop Women Trafficking

I read about the story of women trafficking in Egypt and I realize that this also happens in our country, the Philippines. I stumbled upon another site, The Coalition Against Trafficking in Women (http://www.catwinternational.org/) and I want to learn more about this and see how this can be applied in my country.

Sun on the Bar-B 2020

It's summer in the Philippines. Everyone's headed outdoors, especially to the many beautiful beaches in the archipelago of 7,107 islands.

I am celebrating my birthday at a private island in Palawan. The theme is beach barbeque by the shore. An outdoor picnic complete with nipa mats where people can lounge around sipping their tropical slushies and beach cocktails. The food is a variety of seafoods cooked on the grill. The…

Future of Food

I am on a flight to New York City aboard my personal Concord. The meal of the future is a highly-balanced diet made from genetically-engineered super crops that give great nutritional values even in small portions.

Be Unreasonable! [ACT1]

I picked The Unreasonable Institute as my role model in social innovation. Just the mere mention of "unreasonable" in their official name has already caught my attention. I believe that most great ideas that had a great effect on our world were actually deemed unreasonable before they were actually proven and accepted as truth.

The idea of the Earth being round was unreasonable, unacceptable, and impossible before Christopher…

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
