Alternative Currency is the money that are used in the local place and the local controls it. With alternative currency they can save money and develop there place. First time I couldn't understand alternative currency, I had no idea about this topic, so my english teacher decided to make us understand. He made some fake moneys. He asked use to stand in a line, then he asked us to go in one by one and pick one sit. We had two gourds in our English class, so we worked as a team with that…

Choose a hero to shadow.

For my hero I chose Paula Kahumbu. She is a director of the WildlifeDirect, she is helping build a global online wildlife conservation community. WildlifeDirect is saving endangered animals. Design a new way to power something you use everyday

We use our phones everyday. It needs battery to use it, so i have thought about how to charge a new battery. My idea was to make a shoes that has a battery under the shoes and when we make a step it will generate power by heat and by the pump. It's simple, we just need to wear the shoes like this and walk for long time and when it gets low battery, we just need to take of the battery under the shoes and change it.…

My favorite aw-inspiring water project is by water1st.org. They have problem and the solutions for the problem. Their problems were clear and it was the problem that i was thinking about. In this world, Over 2.5 billion people can't access to clean water and a simple toilet. lots of people dies because of this kind of problems. Mostly, children under the age of 5 die each year from water related illness. 5 years old kid doesn't know that the water is dirty or not, so they just drink it…

Tell a creative story about how you're celebrating a special day in the year 2020.

In 2020, I'll be celebrating christmas. For christmas we need a tree with some shiny decorations and we need electricity to light up. We will be using electricity, that we powered by the sound or a solar. We will not be using anymore oils and other things that we are using it now. It will be a future that we can make our own electricity, that we need for the house and other stuffs.

Who else is inventing creative, sustainable ways to power our everyday lives?

For this part I found four girls that made unexpected products at Maker Faire Africa in Lagos is a urine powered generator. The girl are Duro-Aina Adebola, Akindele Abiola, Faleke Oluwatoyin, and Bello Eniola. They are all 14 except Bello Eniola. She is 15. They made the powered generator like, 1 liter of urine gives 6 hours of electricity. I didn't know what they meant at the first time, but they gave the how the system works. First, rine is put into an electrolytic cell, which separates…

Increase The Food Security Of At Least One Person In Your Community

First I will make group of people that are interested in this kind of topic and then research more about this topic. Then we will make a website about this topic and then if someone needs help, we will go and make some gardens and teach them how to cook the vegetables or how to eat fruits. If they get more than enough food for them. I will ask them to sell some food and tell them to earn their own money for their family, so they can give the garden to the next generation.

It's March 10, 2020. What are you eating for dinner?

In March 10,2020, I would be in korea eating my dinner with my brother and sister. I would be rice and some soup with some kimchi. My food would be from a machine. I think that there will be a machine to make the food for us. I got the machine from internet. It will taste good because the recipe is from my mom and that recipe is inside the machine, so it will taste good.

Social Innovation

My most interesting topic was "Try living for a week on $2 a day" because it is not possible to live a week on $2 a day. If we play with friends we usually use more than $2. We eat, buy, and we waste some money to buy stuffs. If we eat it with friends or by my self it cost more than $2 because now days, the foods in restaurants are very expensive. If other people try to live a week on $2 a day, they will save their money and not waste it. They will feel bad on wasting a lot of money on them…

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
