The Future of Evoke,

In my oppinnion Evoke should focus on the problems they are already deal with.

These problems are already the most fundamental things that have to be changed to ensure a humanly life.

Maybe regions like the near east can be more involved in the effort of evoke.

Evoke should be brought to young kids at school because its very important to raise awareness to this kind of problems at a very young age.

For the next season videobriefings would be very nice to…

Managing Panic in a Pandemic

I think its very important to calm people down during a pandemic.

Journalists play a key role helping government manage fear in the general population during a disaster.

Its important how a situation is discribed in a newsreports, if you for example exaggerate and use the wrong words like death and chaos too often it could just even cause more panic.

When we reach out to the different audiences, we find public trust is a big issue. If you don't have the trust, people aren't…

Border Environment Cooperation Commission

More than 10 million people live along the Mexico-U.S. border, 30% of whom lack basic drinking water, drainage, sanitation and solid-waste management and disposal services.

The BECC works in the border strip which extends 100 kilometers to the north and 100 kilometers to the south of the border between Mexico and the United States. Its priority action areas are drinking water, sewerage, sanitation and municipal solid-waste management.

The BECC constitutes an innovative approach…

Brunswick needs an resilience plan

I believe brunswick has security standards which are forced from the goverment in every german city, but there could be done a lot more.

It is difficult to imagine what type of problems Braunschweig needs to face in the future that really need a resilience plan which could explain the lack of one.

I think the infrastructure could be improved to adapt to the growing population.

The social diversity between the different urbanareas is also a problem which could be…

Rural women in Uzbekistan unite to learn business skills and generate livelihoods

Women in Uzbekistan, as in much of the region, have little access to economic opportunities. Despite efforts to address this by the government, they are underfinanced and under implemented, and gender stereotypes remain strong. Employed women are paid less, with many working in the informal or unskilled non-production sectors. And as social infrastructure shrinks, especially in rural areas, women engaged in unpaid housework are struggling to make ends meet.

Women started to gather in…

Diablo III is boring so just sell your stuff :)

i already got bored by the computergame Diablo III and sold my equipment and gold to another player via Paypal.
If you are not familiar with these kind of games it works as followed.
You collect equipment and gold to improve, some people find what others need and so you are able to trade yours goods with other players.
Some are willing to pay real money for virtual stuff which makes your equipment kind of a currency.

Do-It-Yourself Currencies

I think one big part of our future money will be DIY currencies.

They already exist in various forms on the internet.

For example they are used as currencies in social networks or computergames.

You trade real money for DIY currencies which enables you to buy offered services on specific websites.

One large known DIY currency was called QQ coin, it was established by an chinese social network.

That coin become widely trades for almost a billion dollar a…

Toilet Tank Sinks

Toilet Tank Sinks save water by combining the sink with the toilet tank and combining the plumbing. The cold water comes straight from the pipes but when it runs down the drain, the dirty water from washing hands is stored in the toilet tank and used to flush the toilet. This simple but significant change can make a huge difference in household water usage. “That’s where most of our waste goes,” said Fitzpatrick. The sink can also be rigged to drain into the toilet bowl.

This system was…

Energy through sport

My idea would be to make use of the energy which is created in gyms by lifting weights or running on the treadmill..

Every device should be able to collect the kinetic energy which is provided by the people who are using them.

This collected energy could be stored in batteries or could provide power for light, cd players or even screens.

To motivate the athletes you could keep track of their amount of power they provided for the gym and establish a ladder which shows who…

flat share homegarden

My flat share created their own homegarden in the backyard of our house. We planted tomatos and potatoes.
Time will tell if these plants will survive :D.
The sad thing is you need much more space then a homegarden to live from your homegrown food.
Our homegarden should create enough food for 2-3 meals its not that much...

Restrain yourself

I live in Germany obviously known as one of the richest countrys in the world and i believe one of main threats for global food security is the food consumption behaviour of industrial countrys.

We produce and consum way more food then we need for a healthy nutrition.

Especially meat is overconsumed in our country.

Meat production requires far more food for the animals then it creates.

I like meat a lot by myself but we have to restrain our selfs quite a bit to make a…

Social innovation role model

My favourite role model concerning social innovation is Gerd Niemöller.

The german engineer invented a method to build longlasting and comfortable accomodations for relatively small amount of money.

His type of house is also labeled as "the african house" because his main intention was to offer a house which could help improving the lifestandard on the african continent.

Detailed information can be found in…

My favourite social innovation secret

.
I think the best technologie is useless if its not accepted and understood by the people which are supposed to use it.
Its important to create technologies that are easily understood by the users.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
