Local adaptive capacity

I recently talked to a few neighbors of mine in my apartment complex and they were completly unaware of any adaptive capacity projects in the area. Some didnt even know what i was talking about. But i looked up some adaptive capactiy in my area in fullerton and i have noticed that the city of fulerton is trying to go more green. they are trying to relay on the message of trying to throw away your trash properly. Distributing alot more recycable bins throughout the city.

My contribution to the water crisis.

My contribution to the water crisis is that i wrote numerous letters with my ides on how maybe they could access water better or maybe even utilize it. I chose once again. WATERFORPEOPLE. In my letters i wrote them and said that maybe the water could be rationed maybe a bit better. Making sure every last drop is utilized, Also that maybe they could spend a bit of time creating specific spots for the local people to use the restroom so that maybe the water wont be so polluted with their own… Continue

My favorite site fir water crisis

The site and organization that i found that i showed a lot of interest in is waterforpeople.org. The reason why I liked this foundation is because they are really utilizing all materials to get everyone involved in the water crisis in areas that are not so fortunate of having sanitary water to drink or use to shower. I really support the big picture they have and hope it works to help out even a bit.

Evoke manifesto

Evoke is a great way of making people aware of whats happening in this world. I honestly learned so much of issues going on in this world that I probably would have never known about. I could really say that this has been a great oppurtunity for me to explore sites and get involved with other people that are just as dedicated to this cause as i am. I was really a pleasure to blog and do experiments with other people that you know that are doing the same thing. Nobody makes these people do… Continue

Season 2 script

I believe that the first episode of Evoke 2 should be very similar in the way that the topic should be about social innovation as for new players to get an understanding about what the game will require from them.…

Future for season 2

I think that for evoke season 2 it should be alot more easier for people to contribute. That that it was hard or anything. I just think on some of the missions it was a little bit difficult to do. Im sure alot more people would be willing to participate if it was easier. I would recommend this site to anyone who cares about this planet and wants to make a change. There is alot of great people on here. From blogging on here has opened my eyes to organizations that i would have never known about.… Continue

CREATIVE STORY 2020

The year is 2020 and it is December. To be more specific it is Christmas day. And me and my family have a beautiful christmas tree that is powered by safe powered lights that run on low effecient light bulbs and they turn off when nobody is in the room and luminate when somebody walks back into the room. All gift wrap paper that is used is recycable.

NEW RESOURCEFUL WAY

I think a new resourceful way of using a light bulb in any form such as a lamp or flashlight. Is by naturally turning a wheel or little handle on the side of the lamp or flashlight. Kind of like a wind up reel. To produce the natural electricity. I mean it wont work for long but enough to what you need it for without much electricity getting used.

Sustainable and green

The power player i have chosen is Stephen Chu's(U.S secretary of energy) idea. Specifically aimed at a new green infrastructure. Genereally aimed at 3 areas: Grid solution, new transmission technologies and more efficient air conditioners. The idea if a "smart grid" refers to the massive infrastructure needed to capture energy, store and then deliver it where its needed at any given time.… Continue

INCREASING FOOD SECURITY

I have recently donated a fairly large amount of canned goods from my pantry and from local relatives to bring to the local national guard by my apartment. They have let me know that my efforts are great strives towards helping them and that anything will help them to make sure people who dont know where their next meal is going to be get fed.

Hunger solution

I live in fullerton ca and suprisingly there is a hunger problem in my community. Well mainly on the outskirts of fullerton. But i happend to live next to a us national guard station which i see frequently having soup kitchens for the homeless or those in need of meals. i already have offered some of my pantry good that i could go without. The us national guard team already has a great program going that works for them and i support them when i can. Its real simple the people in need of food… Continue

evoke hero

MY evoke hero that i have chosen is Emily Pilloton: Founder and executive director if Project H Design. The reason why i chose her is cause of the cause of her organization. They are trying to get schooling and education out to areas that are not fortunate enough to have it. And i personally believe that eduacation is key. And i would support anyone that puts emphasis on education. I just like how emily is running this organization. I am currently following Emily and her organization through… Continue

My group of online people.

There has just been a epidemic of the flu and i have just been asked to to gather an online and my team would consist of my closest friends and family. I am really close with them and could have enough faith with them to complete any task i would give them. I would tell my best friend to get online and let everyone know thru any social media accounts they have. I would have my mom make sure everyone has enough knowledge of all task at hand. Consisting of sanitary procedures and safety… Continue

INSIGHT.

The piece of insight that i like the most is "public trust is a big issue"it states when we reach out to the different audiences, we find the public is a big trust issue. If you dont have the trust, the people arent going to follow what you say to do. I agree with this because we as the audience have evolved into visual people without even knowing it. If we see something on tv we normally believe its true. if the media or public doesnt have the audiences attention then we do not trust what…

Indigenous secret

I chose to make this as my indigenous secret because this is the key to reaching a safe world. "STAT!" It signifies that things to be done NOW! The sooner the better. GNC also shows that health must also be incorporated in passing down to another culture. It helps to live longer and will keep humans continuing for long lasting time.

Important case study

A case study that i was reading from the list given i found one really interesting. It headlined: Indigenous postpartum maternal and child health care rites improves health of mother and child. Concerned wiht nursing mothers that recently gave birth. Making the grandparents watch the newborn as the mother heals back to full health. The important lesson learned in this example is that health care programs need to acknowledge thr 'Omugwo' rites and integrate them in their assistance… Continue

Local crisis.

A local crisis that may be faced in Fullerton is flooding from the rain. I mean there is several tunnels underground that help push out the extra flow of water but when it actaully rains hard enought the streets become really flooded. Bad. I fear some day a huge storm is gunna come in and the streets are going to be beyond flooded to where noone can leave there homes. I would look into water storm patters of the past decade in the area. Then look into future predictions of weather patters in my… Continue

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
