Driving to Create Water

Not long ago the US Military working in conjunction with TARDEC (Tank-Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center) designed a system that allows Army vehicles to create perfectly drinkable water via the condensation of the engine exhaust system.

The system creates on average 3.5 gallons per day.

Imagine implementing this system world wide.

There are over… Continue

St Patrick's Day 2020

The G*****ss is in the ground. We buried it as the ground is colder, and doesn't require us to make ice or use freon or other cooling factors. We surrounded it with a insulator to retain the cold condensation around the metal.

The lights are candles. Keep it traditional, and we use no fossil fuels

The food was cooked on a solar grill. Again, no fossil fuels

We use no paper plates, or plastic cubs. Real silverware. it can all be washed and reused, replaced if… Continue

Power Up!

To power something you need a source and sources are not plentiful.

There are less than a handful of energy sources that can be used without creating a by product.

Nuclear power has nuclear waste. Oil has carbon dioxide, as do large generating bloom boxes. Coal releases chemicals.

The only known energy sources with harmful by products are hydrogen, wing, and solar.

None of those 3 items are cheap to implement on a large scale for, say , a home

What… Continue

Thanksgiving 2020

The football game is on.

I recall the uniforms have changed. The cheerleaders are much better dressed, and the rules are different than before.

Perhaps it's the automatic referee sponsored replays that turns me off to this. I used to love football. Now a 2 hour game takes almost half a day and the crowd gets to vote.

Hope the team has enough representatives or the lawyers will decide the winners.

The organic turkey was chosen for us based on how many people… Continue

Waste versus retention

In America, the largest problem is not a lack of food, but rather the amount of it that is quite literally wasted.

These are food stores that could be better utilized, better handled, and most assuredly better prepared.

Consider, almost 50% of the food grains in America are never even eaten. Meanwhile in Ethiopia children are lucky to receive ice and water.

How much is that… Continue

Days of Future Past

The dawn breaks slowly.

The light creeping over the land like a lovers fingers through her beloveds hair.

Such is the way each dawn moves while the world sleeps.

Each day and every day for a millennium.

I sit on my porch of my home. My education afforded me the job that I wanted, which in turn afforded me my home of my dreams.

Its no mansion.

But it uses less electricity than any other home in the state. I am for all attempts and purposes completely… Continue

Innovation

Think creative.

Sam Walton said to not be afraid to swim upstream, and by doing so he created a $200 Billion dollar a year industry.

Don't be afraid to look outside the box, as well as under it, and in a completely different box. Innovation is not merely the ideal of finding an easier way, it is a thought process that adheres to multiple facets from being green, being efficient, being thorough, being safe, and being responsible.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
