Crisis

In a crisis, people need to realize that there isn’t one person who knows what is happening and why. A lot of people have different ideas as to the who, what, when, where, why’s, and some of them conflict. You need to get several views
from several different parties, and get a general consensus from there. If you
realize that there isn’t one answer, you can try to find the general happenings
of the situation.

Next Year

I would try to tackle the off-shore dilemma. What resources do we have here in the country that we can’t ship overseas? We need to focus on the creative arts.

US and European high schools…

Rainforest for sale!

People value what they own. They always take better care of their own things than someone else’s, especially if it is important to them. If you take something, like a rainforest, and make it important to the people around it, the people there will protect it. If the resource can make a profit, there’s even more reason to protect it. People also should take pride in their resources. It’s not every day…

Ice Storms

Tulsa has a bad history of ice storms. They destroy everything. Ice weighs more than it seems. It can break power lines, trees, buildings, you name it.

There are lots of things we need to…

The Favour Bank

The Favour Bank

by Cat Cramer

I find paying for goods and services using e-money is such a rigid and formal process. Will we see other systems of trade emerge as e-money replaces cash? I decided to look at de-centralised, unmonitored methods of trading services, which resulted in an experiment called the favour bank. The favour bank works on a currency of favours. If you need a favour you can take a contact from the bank as long as you…

Water 1st International

Over 1 billion people worldwide lack access to safe drinking water.

2.5 billion people worldwide lack hygienic toilets.

These are the estimates reported by the World Health Organization.

A child killer: Surviving diarrhea is the greatest single challenge for our world’s children. 5 million people die each year from water-related diseases, mostly children under the age of five. Diarrhea is the leading cause of death of children in countries with high child…

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
