A crash course in changing the world.
It is the year two thausand and sventy nine. Exactly sixty nine years ago, the World was saturated with worries of how the way we lived at that time could errode the exact code that defines the various people of the World called "Indigenous people".
Though the World was so complex, I realised that though we were groups in terms of communities, villages, towns and countries; everything that affected us were the results of individual actions. Hence I thought of my own contribution to profer simple solutions to such practical problems such as: polution, poverty, inequality, nuclear threat, starvation, etc. and took the necessary step. Now people generate electricity without destroying their lakes and rivers, without threatening the existence of acquatic lives, without threatening the health of people through networks of high voltage wires. Power supply is now available in almost all corners of the World that were once called remote places. Men now use their Indigenous Knowledge to live a Better way of life.
In those days, they used to refer to Indigenous people as primitive. But these people were able to build stable societies with their Indigenous knowledge. Societies that did not pose threat of rapid transformation of the Earth. Indigenous people in Villages were able to use indigenous knowledge to police the society, for weather fore-cast, in medicine and disease control, etc.
There was a very strong power of interaction within communities in Africa; Parables, folktales and folklores were parts of the building blocks of stable and peaceful communities. For as wise African sayings were locked in parables, so were good morals and virtues locked in traditional African folktales and folklores.
But there was a time of derail when Indigenous people began to lose their Identities by looking afar for solutions to their local problems. They began to depend on distant invisible entities to take charge of the activities in their respective immediate environments. They began to learn complex formulars to simple problems. As such were greeted with Chaos and Instability.
Indigenous people are native to a land or regions particularly before contact with other cultures, though most of the characteristics that defines indigenous people are usually subject to gradual transformation. Today, Indigenous could be defined as natives of those places that have either preserved their cultures or that have transformed only a little.
For Cape town and San francisco to be called Indigenous Cities today is because they were able to preserve the cultures they had sixty nine years ago. it is ironical to know that in those days, both cities were simply modern and could not have been refered to as Indigenous.
Italy was an Indigenous country because of its richness in Ancient Antiquities and Cultures. It was a country where people had strong appetite for Olive oil, Formagio, pizza. It was a country that had strong bond with the Catholic faith. That the callosum remains physical and still commands all that it represents was the definition for weather this country remains Indigenous. If the evidence of the myth of Rome in those days of its glory still remained, Italy would have still remained an Indigenous Country.
On the contrary, Brazil is an Indigenous country because soccer is still reverened; the Beautiful beach Life still remains; The Amazon forest was preserved; Bebeto, Pele, Romario, Ronaldo, Ronaldhino remains relevant Heroes.
That Earth is an Indigenous Planet today is because it can still support life. We are still protected by the Ozone layer. Earth remains a home for diversed Biological life.
There used to be a prediction for total anihilation of Biological life or drastic transformation of the Earth due to Perceively negative human activities. But they did not come to reality because the majority of humanity took positive decisions to preserve their Indigenous nature with lessons learnt from Indigenous secrets. Your generations must learn from such past events.
