A crash course in changing the world.
Design in Africa.
I have looked all topics and tips over Innovation about solving global problems in Africa
Africa has many different problems:
There is, for example, the problem that many people have to drink dirty water because they have no money to pay for clean water. Through the mud in the water many of them are sick.
Another problem is the hunger.
Many people in Africa are starving because they can not irrigate their crops dry up and this fact. Even grasshoppers that eat the plants, extreme droughts and earthquakes cause the crop is destroyed and the people have no food.
The biggest problem, however, are the diseases. One of the best known diseases is malaria. It is transmitted by a mosquito, the mosquito. The patients suffer
of fever and chills.
To make a decision about how to solve these problems must be
understand the environment, infrastructure, culture and people's lives in Africa.
Therefore, I find the concept of Amy Smith on rules and principles of design in developing countries very well suited. We really need to try to live for a week at $ 2 per day.
It helps them begin to understand the trade-offs that must be made when you have only very limited resources. I live in Germany and the Europeans do not you know those problems of resource scarcity, therefore we can not imagine how can deal with this scarcity of ressources. One needs to analyze and research by location , we must try to live like the people in africa. We can to determine where the deficiencies are yet and where we have to apply new innovative technologies.
