A crash course in changing the world.
When I see this mission, I am a bit confused how to finish this mission. Then, I realize that I have a friend that started a community and service called Riveria. Riveria is a community and service that is made by a grade 10 student in our school to teach english to poor children. Then, I joined the community and service and here is a photo of evidence I teach little girls to empower them:
In this CAS project, what I think work well from doing this is we managed to teach the kids about sports. At the end of the day, we get the kids to memorize some basic sport names. What I think that didn't work in this CAS is the kids didn't looked very engaged and having fun studying english with us, so I am suggesting that we can improve our teaching by playing educational games with them and teach them with a fun tone. My plan for next teaching session is bringing some balls and markers to play with them. I can show them a basketball and say "What is this?" and expecting them to say basketball. I would also draw pictures using the marker on the white board. After I draw a picture of a person playing Tennis on the board, I will then ask them to guess what is the person doing and I am expecting the kids to say Tennis. That is the things I will do to make the class much more fun.
