Today i was out working in the gardens. My family and i split up the chickens between our two homes, but she said i might have to put them all at my home since there is a privacy fence, no one will know they are there then from a distance.
The garden at my house is looking good, the herbs should be ready soon and i still have a good supply from last year. The turbines are all working and the solar panels are in good condition. We have the solar panels placed on top of the flat part of my house so they can be easily cleaned. The town is slowly starting to build community gardens and sneaking in more farm animals into their yards. People in town are going to have a rally later this month so abolish the laws against farm animals and environmental issues such as recycling and wind turbine construction. I really don't think city hall has a choice anymore, everyone in town has broke these laws to such an extent they will have to give in. They don't really have a choice anymore. ...
Usually i garden in the early mornings before i gets too hot. Checking the rain barrels and drip irrigation systems. Then i clean off the solar panels and check the electricity meters. After that the chickens are fed then i go inside before the heat of the day to save on power consumption. Carrying my basket of fresh eggs and vegetables i walk through the back door only to hear the phone ring. Quickly i place my basket on the kitchen counter and head upstairs to the phone. ...
"Hello?" i say quietly. "This is Alchemy, We need your help with the Tokyo food crisis. You are to report there as soon as possible." Click! Sliding the phone slowly away from my face i realize how bad things are getting. Quickly i hung up the phone and went down stairs to prepare food for the trip and pack. Heading back to my office i grab my laptop and travel doc**ents. Throwing them all in a back pack for the long trip ahead. ...
