Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

1)How did you hear about the EVOKE network, and what made you decide to join?

The Worldbank emailed me about the Evoke Network. Well, since im an environmentalist and a Social development advocate, i found it interesting to join because this is the kind of Social Networking Site that i would love to join where people from accross the globe are talking about the different global issues and how to address it. I was also encouraged a lot more when it was said over the network that you will have the chance to meet different young advocates from around the world to discuss and collaborate to solve different global adversities.

2)Name one person on here you got to know or would like to get to know? Make a good friend out of this, the closer we bring the network the easier and more enjoyable it is to work together. Try to make it a daily thing to check up on their profile, just like the mentors.

As an Agent, of course i would like to know more about the Alchemy and try to have a nice and intelligent chat with him. I also have lots of question to ask him.

Of course, i would also like to meet Agent Baird. Hahaha... He's so active to Evoke Network. I would love to have a chat with him personally and hopefully, we could be real friends even though we're oceans apart. My ideal friend is actually like Agent Baird. I am not impossing that my current friends should be like him. He was just my ideal friend. I hope i'd be able to have a chance to meet AGENT JAKE BAIRD!

I would also like to meet Eben Bayer. My Hero!

3)What is the worst crisis to you in the world currently that requires Evoke's attention? This one I am expecting a lot of different answers.

I guess the quake that had happened in Chile and Haiti.

Many local citizens in Haiti are still struggling for their primary necessities even though lots aids have been pouring unto them. I believed that these aids cannot replace the shattered lives of the people over there. However, these aids have maid a lot of difference for them to continue living their lives.

With regards to CHile, i don't have enough information about the things that had happened there. But i heard that Chile's recent quake was the fift strongest ever since the history of the world has been written.

4)What is your background? Where were you raised, city or farm? Family members? Married, Single, Engaged? Cats or Dogs?
I am not trying to pry personal information from you. Like I said before, the more you get to know everyone, the closer you get, the more enjoyment of working with together as a team.

I came from a well-oriented family. We're not rich. Just a simple family living in the city of Muntinlupa. My Doesn't have a job. But it's just ok with me because I dont want her to work either. My step dad is a contractor. His earning is just enough to feed us everyday and to support the studies of my two younger siblings.

I'm an honor student since grade school upto high school. I am consistent scholar. I pursue excellence in everything i do especially academically and environmentally. Now that im in college, i continue to pursue excellence to set example to my fellow youth who came from a not-so-fortunate family.

I am an environmentalist. I am affiliated to two environmental youth organization namely Youth for School and Environment and CLEAR Youth Network. I am also a volunteer to Philippine National Red Cross - Red Cross Youth Rizal Chapter.

I am not married of course. I'm not in a relationship too. But im open to whomever wants me ^___^ serioulsy. ANyone just as long as he/she is going to love me and not going to cheat me!

(WANTED: BOYFRIEND or GIRLFRIEND! Hahahahaha...)

5)Find a quote that inspires you that might inspire others. If you are religious, put a piece of scripture. I think some of the more powerful blogs and
videos on here that I have read have been, true personal opinions "based" off research. Not just a bunch of stats. So I want to get that personal gears running in your head.

Abrahan Lincoln, 16th president of the United States of America, once declared, "You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today."

-The yoke of responsibility is not one that can be shrugged off, especially when it is a duty to successive generations to secure their future by insuring the present.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
