A crash course in changing the world.
I got a call this morning Citizen X said he needed me to report on the local bank thats been set up by the community. The economy broke down, collapsed, each community is now in the position to create their own local economies based on what services and goods they have.
Quickly grabbing my tablet i tossed it in my bag and grabbed my keys. Heading down stairs i stopped by the door and petted my dog before i left. Heading down the driveway i unlocked the door and opened the garage. Getting my electric vespa i locked up and drove down the street. The new bank was only a few blocks away. I could ride my bicycle but it's faster this way.
When i arrived no one was there yet so while i was standing by my vespa i snapped a few digital shots and uploaded them to my article. Leaning back i started writing, the bank used to be called the bank of lincoln county. Now it's the people's community bank, me and several others are working on setting it up. There will be a virtual currency and commodities exchange.
Mostly the new currency system will be digital with no paper money being used. Exchange rates will be in place and most people will be using cellphones and tablets to transfer their money. The community where i live voted on rebuilding the bank last week. Hopefully everything is going good, i should get out of here before someone see's me. Getting on my vespa i transmitted the article to Citizen X before i left.
