Barefoot College Helping Repair Rural Communites:

My community management story is of the Barefoot College. Who is working with locals to rediscover their past in hopes of a brighter
future. By combining
indigenous knowledge
and green technology to create sustainable villages. Rural handicraft is
one of the many projects that the Barefoot College is helping
communities with. It is focused on
woman empowerment, whenever something is sold
the women are
encouraged to manage
their own bank accounts, teach others their craft and learn to read and
write. In the area of Healthcare the
college promotes immunizations, child care, mother care,
medical camps, family welfare, medical check ups, and more. The college
has also helped
communities find water
supplies,
build wells,
and harvest water.

Under education, children are taught basic math, hindi, social studies, english and more. Along with what is relevant to the immediate enviroment of the
working children such as learning about local revenue officials, rural
artisans, doctors, midwives, and more. Children are also introduced to
the concepts of democracy and political structures and processes of
India. They are taught about money ,lending, harmony, minimum wages,
right to information, employment and more.
The communities are also taught about solar energy
and how to create and build solar panels to help their villages and to
provide power where there was none before. Thanks to the Barefoot College
communities are thriving and people are learning about
their environment and how to help
their
communities more each
day. The most important thing to know is that if you help someone gain
knowledge then they can help themselves and others in their communities.
But someone must always be there to help at the beginning. Who is working with locals to rediscover their past in hopes of a

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
