Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

I'm S.R, currently sitting as the Head of Organisations for Comrade, an organisation created by my peers and I to help our ailing society. A few years ago, the heads of this country did not take heed the warnings of several eco-NGO's. They were like those crazy old men with beards and a holy book, standing on top of a crate telling us all that the end is near. They didn't listen.

Comrade is a mix and match of all kinds of individuals who can lend a hand in more ways than one. It is also a non-profit.

What do I do? I shift people around to an area of their expertise where they are needed. An area where they would flourish and create something that would be able to help our condition. The big-wigs are in denial. Just the other day I was talking to one of the parliamentary ministers about the impending food shortage and I was taken aback by his reply. "Food shortage? We are a self sufficient country lah. I highly doubt we'll be having any kind of food crisis. Look at me, I'm eating well!" I was about to blow him the hell out with a tirade of verbal abuse but my phone rang. His people, the rakyat, the ones who never bothered to start their own vegetable garden, were on the verge of riots because of the food rations. Do these people not read the papers? Oh, wait, I forgot, the papers don't show the real world because of stupid media policies.

Just a little note though, other than Head of an NGO, I'm pretty much a bum living on income acquired via smart investments. Anyway, I walked away from an already fuming big-wig but that's how it is in the real world. I was never made to kowtow to anyone if they didn't earn my respect and a degree of admiration, a trait made available by the circle of friends that I keep. The minister is not my friend. He's just someone I picked out of a hat to 'discuss' how stupid he really is. Insane amounts of 'mean' aside, I'm a nice person.

Nature has an uncanny way of retaking what was initially hers. We'll just give her a head start.

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
