A crash course in changing the world.

Change from a Monetary System to Resource-Shared System

In 2020 my best case scenario would be that The Venus project has been fully integrated and up and running for a good 8 years...

I wouldn't wake to hear of a sudden crisis of a food supply issue, as the fully shared resources of the earth would have been gradually redistributed to the areas most in need and technology would have developed to suit all areas of the earth. [This is based upon the assumption that the techtonic plates do not change with the pole shift.] For example, Japan prone to natural disasters would have had it's cities redesigned for maximum efficiency in transportation, communication and optimal living, whilst still remaining aesthetically pleasing to view with plenty of nature involved within the technological advancement.

The brilliantly engineered A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) would be working under the direction humans to constantly update fluctuations in humanity and all areas, much like homeostasis in the human body, the aim would be to avoid extremes. In the event food supply was becoming an issue it would have been picked up. Much like the Negative feedback system in the body, the calculations of change would be feed into these super computers and the efficient and unrestricted communication network (Which would now be at the highest speed available to man in accordance with his technological development) would inform not only all humans, but all automated transport to redirect extra food stuffs gradually over a period of weeks and months, whilst simultaneously informing the local area of what was Tokyo, as in this new resource economy there are no longer petty divides like countries. Locals could then reduce food consumption and if they then felt it was putting an unnecessary burden on the economy of the planter redistribute themselves to another area of the globe without and hassle or cost. The Venus Project shares all resources so money would no longer be an issue. Transportation would be free globally and people could travel to wherever they pleased, there would be no need to worry of mass movement of populations either because no matter where you are in the globe you would have resources available hence why a food shortage would be unlikely.

However, lets take a surprise that for some unusual reason, the food stuffs heading to the Sector J [Renamed from Japan to highlight impersonal areas, thus preventing attachment allowing cultural and social barriers to be removed] didn't reach the city. What would my day be like?

As work in this society would have shifted to work would be an honour as one would be helping all of humanity, this would be due to the development of automated technology to free up humans to retrain in new areas, the day would be spent awakening in a perfectly developed modelled super home, designed to my specification:

I'd have seen on the Global Inter-link of a particular incident at Sector J. With my day perhaps being of only a few hours work and then the rest my own time of study, hobbies and social. I'd feel compelled to give up what ever I could to go and help out. I'd perhaps inform my area of work that I have skills that I could use to help the situation and inform them that I would not be attending. No sick fee, No avoiding work just a simple notification, another lucky individual would be offered the hours to help provide for the 'Blue Tribe'. Meanwhile an automated taxi would then take me to the nearest mass transit hub. I would then proceed to travel to Sector J, with the latest technology one would hope the period of time in the physical world would be no more than a few hours. Upon arriving at the are report to the Local areas and to who ever has the most knowledge on the situation, offer my skills and see what the consensus is for where and how I should work. For example, maybe a programming issue in a local GPS receiver had perhaps become corrupted. [At this point it becomes difficult because if most this have been engineered by machines via our direction and programming has been improved massively it would be very unlikely for an issue like this to ever occur.]

I'd spend the time utilising my skills, socialising with new people and we collectively solve the problem, much like we do on this website today. Then after a few hours probably spend the day in Sector J as I'm in the area, with so much of the world population free from the 9-5 and from pointless jobs like, Banking, hopefully millions of people would turn up to help and within a very short period of time everything would be back to normal. The cells of planet earth, the human correct the problem and the system returns to Homeostasis.

The next adventure would be waiting for me the next day and there would always be somewhere to sleep so I'd probably spend a few days at Sector J, to help monitor the situation and see if a cause could be established and then alter the dimensions of the system to enhance it to accommodate the variable.

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
