This little child was asking a older man i would say about 5 years older than me, the girl was about 4 years old about 6 years ago several small groups decided that as much as they liked gas and oil. it was a waste of power and was starting not to meet the demand of the people.
although it has took this long for a lot of the avg people to have it every day, so far she may of seen a few examples but very few people use oil/gas to power anything just cost too much.
this celebration today is because of that and in fact would not be possible other wise are current celebration is powered by organic grown fuel cells, also some of the trees around the park where the celebration is taking place has leaves on man made trees that gather sunlight to store then later use.
even the stones that are set as a walkway do the same thing gather sunlight most use to think that cost too much or could never be done what they keep forgetting is that we are humans humans can almost do anything we set are minds too.
Even are phones are kinetically charged and while not perfect yet how long did it take oil/gas to get where it was 10 years ago a long time. is there still oil/gas users yes it will still be around for awhile so a world where a child will grow up not useing oil/gas like her parents did is alright as well.
