Shanghai (BBCMoney.com) -- Treasury Secretary Timothy Huang will meet with a top Chinese official this week, possibly opening the door to a discussion over the value of China's currency.
Today Miss Huang visited a new open China Merchants Bank (CMB) and talk with the staff there. They focused on how China will handle with future money and what is the advanced method being used in CMB.
Mr Hou, the chief manager in CMB, answered the question with ease. He promised a bright future of CMB in the market of upcoming e-money and also gave us a hint about their strategy of working with Alipay.
Miss Huang got a bunch of emails from all big banks in China. One idea stands out among others. That is future money will be in everyone's finger. If we want to purchase something, we just put our finger on the seller's finger. Then a certain amount of money is being transformed.
Does that sound ridiculous? Who knows, maybe it will happen next few years.
