I've been thinking about what innovative way of creating, or to be more precise capturing otherwise lost, energy could be there that integrates with our everyday activities... So I began to think about what do we actually do everyday: we sleep, we breath, we eat, we drink, we talk, we use our 5 senses, we sit, we walk... wait, we walk? There's already something there about getting energy from walking! see for example
Sustainable Dance Clubs or
Sustainable Train Stations... but we're talking about getting energy from walking in a wider sense, these technologies apply to the ground, and are pretty expensive I presume, even more if you want to cover a
large area... so I thought: could be there a way to have the
shoes trap the energy wasted while walking? I don't mean them to gain much energy, but even enough to recharge a decent battery would be more than enough. You should always imagine this to be applied thousand, million-fold.
The only doubt is if it's cheap enough to be worth it...
