A crash course in changing the world.
"I remember Jesus was supposed to have been born in an manger. No wastage of energy there.
My family is with me. And many many others , full of hope for mankind.
We put glowworms in a coconut husk for light. They are alive and flutter about and cause dancing patterns of light and shadows.
We sing using unplugged instruments.
It's dinner time.
The light is beautiful.
The food is sumptuous.
Our friends go home happily carrying coconut leaf torches.
We thank God for the birth of our Saviour.
We go to sleep leaving windows open so that no fans are needed. We sleep on the floor. Our bodies give us warmth and heat. Plain living, high thinking. Life is good.
Tomorrow is another day when we can go around spreading light and heat.
Our bodies are a source of renewable sustainable energy. We found this out by denying ourselves other forms of energy.
They are dynamos and even glow faintly nowadays in the nights. My son glows the most, then my wife and two daughters. I glow the least.
We see the stars and and fireflies through the windows and laugh happily at the sight of stardust before drifting off to sleep.
Our slumber is peaceful, sound, deep and dreamless; or full of good visions about the earth's and mankind's future.
