When I turn 100 years old in the year 2087, I hope that I can pass on the knowledge of conserving nature, especially trees. Trees are important to all living things because they produce oxyen. Unfortunately, trees are cut down much quicker than they are replanted in order to make room for technology and to use for other services, such as building materials and paper products. So far, my husband and I have planted one live oak tree in our front yard, which I hope survives, especially because live oaks could become infected with a number of fatal diseases. So, I hope that I am able to encourage others to continue to plant one of our most valuable resources. Also, I think the definition of indigenous will have to change. I believe this because people are constantly moving around, therefore indigenous will probably focus on people who have inhabited an area for a certain short period of time, rather than a long period of time.
