A crash course in changing the world.

The tag says it all - LEARN! This ability together with creativity and adaptation are the values I praise the most. Not only are they important for being a master social innovator but also they are key factors in any other activity.

Learning is a broad term. It should be seen in many aspects: learn about a certain subject, learn skills and abilities, learn to communicate, learn how to deal with things, even learn to teach someone your learnings. You can learn many things at school and university but in my opinion life is the best teacher. For example I've learned a lot from my 5-year experience as an e-Sports team manager. The games and the community established the skills I'm trying to upgrade now.

People kept telling me my true power lied in the fact I was still young but having great ideas, knowing more than my fellows, a.k.a. being one step ahead of my time. Well, now I'm 21. I don't feel like the young innovative kid waiting to grow up so that people listen to his great ideas. I'm not a kid anymore. I have my powers, my passions, my beliefs. I'm upgrading my skills, learning new ones, adapting to what happens around me. I'm aware of problems and prefer getting involved rather than watching passively.

Like any other human, I have my weak points, too. But I learned not only to spot them, but try hard to eliminate them. Time management is something very important in modern world, especially in the field of media, PR and communications, where I work and study. I experience problems meeting certain deadlines, concentrating on quality rather than quantity. For example I can write an excellent article for 2 days but there are journalists who can write 5 good articles for the same period. So while I'm being distracted by the details, going deep into the matter, other people act more productively. There is a short story I'd like to share with you:

Every night in the African Savannah the lion goes to sleep thinking that in the morning as soon as he wakes up, he should start running to catch an antelope, otherwise he'd die from starvation. In other part of the same Savannah the antelope goes to sleep thinking that in the morning as soon as she wakes up, she should start running to save her life from the lion, otherwise she'd be eaten. It's the same in modern world - no matter if you are a lion or an antelope, you should start running as soon as you wake up! Otherwise your competitors will eat you, or, if you are the chasers, you won't be able to catch them!

Hello, Emil. I wondered: as a manager for an e-sports team, what insights can you share with us about getting collaboration to happen? I'm sure this perspective will be valuable in upcoming Missions!

I'm glad you're interested so I'll do my best to share some useful tips and practices without getting into deep details... or at least not too much :)

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
