Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

Help us decide:

§ WHICH great challenges and social problems should the EVOKE Network tackle next?

One of the first things that EVOKE should tackle is child security, pollution and dealing with overpopulation, etc. Any health, monetary, religious, or social crisis's that are happening now or a later on down the line. Another thing could be trade, debt, monopolies,

§ WHERE in the world should the network try to build up new EVOKE communities?

Everyone in the world should build up new EVOKE communities. I do believe that developed countries should take part, because they should learn to learn about problems besides their own.

§ WHO would you encourage to play Season 2?

Anyone who really wants to make a change should absolutely considering jumping on the next EVOKE crash course.

§ HOW would you change the game for Season 2?

- Clearer and more concise rules and regulations.

- Easier navigation of the website.

- Better integration into the technologies that EVOKE promotes.

- Perhaps ability to chat in real time with people instead of playing email tag by commenting blogs or spamming people's inbox.

- The ability to do many different other languages. It wasn't a problem with me, but I'm sure it was a piss off for people in foreign countries.

-

>§ WHAT new tools would you want as an EVOKE agent?

It'd be really cool if EVOKE could've had better integration with the missions, instead of throwing a bunch of links and hoping we understood.

Another thing I'd like would be to have an option to separate a post from evidence if it's insufficient or under researched. Or else people are getting away with posting a few simple sentences in order to "complete"all their missions.

Something that could break language barriers would be for the website to automatically translate every interaction between people with different languages chosen. This way, there are no more 'language cliques' or not understanding on the basis of language.

§ WHY would you come back for a second Season? What more would you want from the experience?

I would come back for a second season from a fresher perspective, because the current perspective that I have gained may eventually wear off. I'm sure that EVOKE next time will be more thought out and more involving for EVOKE members.

Your objective:

Share your ideas about the future of the EVOKE network. What would make this great
adventure even better for Season 2?

Accessible in other-than-digital forms? That might be a bit tough, but Koshy had a good point when he said that UrgentEvoke was mostly North American/European based. In order to put across real change, we must integrate these ideals everywhere, even though it might be a bit of a challenge.

We cannot have much censorship in the future EVOKE network. Suspension must not be the first option in dealing with any conflict within the network.

Our opinions for the next wave to evoke. If we're to built off our successes, we should contact the active evokers and survey them to replace any undesired traits. (This might have already been done)

Uh I said undesired traits without a second thought. I just meant removing things that we don't like about EVOKE and replacing them with better things. Maybe I just worded it wrong.

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

The meal

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Foods are vacc** sealded for easy…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
