A crash course in changing the world.

Learn1 - The importance of improving what we already have

There are many secrets to innovations that are very beneficial, and for this reason it is very hard to choose one. But, when it comes down to it the tip "Innovate on existing platform" is one of the more important ones amongst all the tips. The reason behind it is because many other tips can be related back to this specific tip. When people generally talk about innovation, the first phrase that comes to most people's mind is "think outside the box", at least that is what we have been told as children. But when we truly need a revolutionary idea, we cannot neglect what is already inside the box. As the matter of fact, it is impossible to think outside the box without fully studying and knowing what is in the box. If you don't have an understanding of it, there could be a case where something you think is outside the box already exists in the box. Therefore, for innovation, it is very important to think outside the box while having a full grasp of what is inside of it.

So, how does this relate back to "innovate on existing platform". First, if we want to innovate it is important to know what your innovation is going to be and its functions. Then we have to become an expert of it and understand how it is being beneficial and how it is not perhaps living up to its potential. Keep in mind: it is a lot easier to do a research on something that currently exists then something you want to pull out of thin air. Secondly, when we are inventing something, especially a product, the cost associated with/to it is an important matter of consideration. With that being said, it is a lot more cost effective to improve or develop a currently-existing platform. Sure, there could, as the matter of fact, there will be a limitation to improving what we already have. But, that limitation also represents the said product's full potential. This means we get to maximize its utility. It is very important that we use everything we have to their full potentials before we move on to something completely new. Lastly, in regards to technology, it is important to invent something that is 'user-friendly'. It is a lot easier to make a user-friendly product when the concept behind the said product is something that most people are familiar with; but this will be a lot better.

It is not necessary to pick just one secret of innovation, because all the secrets listed are very valuable. But, if we were to pick on one, I would highly recommend "Innovate on existing platform" for the reasons I have mentioned above.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
