Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

Listen, learn, watch, observe, note, realize and take an informed decision to arrive at the solution

The above line has got of lot of verbs and therefore specifies a lot of activities. But all of them corresponds to one secret "Understanding".
We need to Understand to problem to arrive at the solution.
- I believe this is the first step towards any real solution to a prevalent problem. And this also applies for problems that we foresee.

I will give an example and then i will explain.

I used to work in a city a bit off from my hometown. Every weekend i used to take a bus for my home which en-route used to wait at the one of the bus depot at the outskirts of the city. There were mobile tea vendors selling tea in plastic cups across the bus depot. Commuter bought tea from them and used to throw away the plastic cups here and there across the depot area.

Sitting at the bus,I observed this for a couple of weeks.I tried to understand the reason behind it.

Therefore one day, once the bus stopped at the depot for a brief period, I decided to get down, though it was not my destination.
First I bought a tea from the one of those tea-vendors. After I finished the tea, i realized there's no place where i can drop the cup. I searched for the "USE-ME" Bins or garbage-drop bags. But i could not locate any and my bus had started off by that time. Therefore I dropped it there only.

Now i realized why the commuters behave like that.

Next time I went to the depot again. I talked to the management there for keeping a dust-bin.

To my utter surprise, they said they keep it. But everytime the get a new dust-bin, it gets stolen.

Further conversation to the tea-vendors, i realized that those bins were stolen by the beggars in the nearby streets.

Note: The bus-depot is not a covered guarded area. Also the management has arranged for a sweeper to clean it everyday, but considering the huge no of commuters, it gets really dirty by the evening.

The incident mentioned above proves that we should understand and go deep inside the problem before judging.

Therefore I listen and observe which helps to me understand the root cause of any problem.

There are lot more incidents in my life which have made me realize this fact and I will rest upon this secret for the entire of my life. I have been applying those principles in my life and it has helped to solve any kind of problems successfully. I hope that those secrets will help me in this game too for being the social innovator.

But understanding alone won't achieve anything. It is just the first step.

After understanding the problem we need to deliver a creative solution utlizing the existing resources with which has to be cheap and affordable and will help to provide sustainable benefits to millions of people in the long run.

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
