A crash course in changing the world.
One of my ancestors - a survivor of the Armenian genocide (95th anniversary tomorrow) - while talking in an elderly age to children surrounding him, said "live my children, but don't live like we did", referring to the ordeal that he, and many other, had suffered as a result of the genocide. One day, when I reach to a similar age, I would pass the same message to the people around me. I will tell them to live and appreciate life with all its details, hardships and memorable moments, but do not live like we did, in terms of the damage that we caused to our planet, exhausting its resources and harming the environment, eco-system... through unsustainable policies, wars... Appreciation of life is the greatest secret that I would convey to them...
