A crash course in changing the world.
Masdar City
The project will cost $22 billion (US) and will house anywhere between 45,000 to 50,000 people with over 1,500 businesses throughout the city and an expected 60,000 workers to commute to the city daily. Automobiles are banned within the city; individuals can travel via public mass transit and personal rapid transit systems, with existing road and railways connecting to other locations outside the city.
The project was started in 2006 and the first phase has already been completed allowing habitability.
