A crash course in changing the world.

Why is creativity important and what exactly does it provide?

One of few arguable elements of life that everyone consciously does on a day to day basis, is creative thinking. It is measured not by scales or a scoring system, but measured only by itself. It is a psychological phenomena which is physically immeasurable.

Creativity is one of the few completely renewable forces throughout the known universe, with no limitations or barriers to stop it, is it logical to assume that it will never cease to exist? No, it won't. As long as there is art; literature, philosophy, science, music and nature to inspire, creativity will never stop existing. It is something most of us take for granted, being able to conjure up refreshing escapes from everyday life, or having the ability to create an imaginary friend. For some, it is harder to think creatively than to do anything else, for other's it comes naturally. But one only has to look around and consider what we've achieved so far to be somewhat inspired. It is
our job as human beings to enable the flow of creativity to new and unprecedented heights.

Without creativity, the creative of the wheel would never have come to pass, the idea of producing fire on demand would never have manifested. Just take a moment to think about where we would be without creativity. Look around yourself,
everything you see is a result of creativity, the concept of laying bricks upon each other to form a house, the engineering of a computer, even something as simple as a box. All results of ideas which started with one man or woman, so why shouldn't you or I join the ranks of the creative hall of fame?

It's a simple notion, that everything man-made is a result of creativity. Even man's attempts of harnessing the usefulness of the things he didn't create, be it agriculture or hydroponics, wind farms and solar power, we all have the ability to change the world, we all stand in front of that door. We just need to find the key. Whilst it is ideal to think big and strain from there-forth, revolutionary ideas don't come to us overnight, in fact most of the time, we have to start small. There's no use thinking '
If I don't think big, then it's not worth thinking about.' Because everyone has to start somewhere, be it large, small, or microscopic.

I funnel my creativity into creative writing, coming up with new worlds filled with lush flora and the largest variety of fauna known to man (
or in this case, unknown!). It's a beautiful thing to be able to create something from nothing (a huge philosophical topic, right there), in fact it's something that has only existed in the mind, a place full of ideas, theories, opinions and the potential for creation. So to keep my creative juices flowing, I try to write daily, small writing exercises, sometimes with limits, sometimes without. Sometimes I attack my creativity, others I try refining it from initial prospecting, until I reach a conclusion which does the idea justice.

Everyone is different though, some prefer art, others, music. Some prefer to harness ideas and transform them into innovations, but whilst creativity is valued, we have reached a point in society where that may not be enough and the ability to '
think outside the box' is well valued. After all, the box was an example of creation, and now we have to look past that for a new degree of creativity.
It's that new degree of creativity which will help shape the world of tomorrow, it's that new degree of creativity which will help
me shape the world of tomorrow.

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
