Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

It's the year 2020. I received a strange call from an agency called Alchemy five months ago regarding a food crisis in Tokyo that desperately needed my help. The only thing is, I HAVE NO IDEA WHO ALCHEMY IS! I vaguely remember the name Alchemy. It sort of sounded familiar but I just could not put my finger on it. I keep repeating the word, "Alchemy, Alchemy, Alchemy" to try and stir up any memories. A mixture of strange words were flooding into my head, "Tokyo...food crisis...Alchemy... missions? Quests?" All these words are jumbled around in my brain. Then it hit me. "Urgent Evoke"! I finally remember! Nine years ago, I played this game called Urgent Evoke and there was this one quest... wait maybe it was a mission... I don't know, for heaven sakes it was nine years ago! Nevertheless, the question asked me what I would be doing in 2020 if Alchemy called on me for help. It was all coming together now, I can't believe this is actually happening. Now if only I could remember my answer to that question. Forget it, I can't remember, I'll just have to think of something on my own. Well let's see, what can I do to raise money for the food crisis in Tokyo? I know, I could talk to my professors and my co-workers at the hospital I work at, and put together a banquet to raise funds. Ok that's what I will do.
**********
After one wh*** month of meticulous, diligent and painstaking preparation, the long awaited banquet at Royal Horticultural Halls and Conference Center in Westminster, London has finally arrived. The venue for tonight includes; cocktail hour with a variety of local Vermont and Quebecois cheeses, a cast-iron pan filled with rosemary, mixed olives, roasted zucchini, fresh herbs, goat cheese seared green beans in indo-sauce and fresh mozzarella layered with tomatoes, an opening speech by a professor from Westminster, dinner, a live auction and stand up comedian. The menu that will be served:
*Pasta salads served with various sauces
*Couscous salad and a green salad bar
*Grilled Chicken, Beef Tenderloin, Roasted Turkey and/or Grilled Fish
*Baked potatoes, asparagus, mushroom ragout, and/or green beans
*Coffee, tea (hot and iced), soft drinks and alcohol (if desired)
Of course, because this fundraiser is to support the Tokyo "Food Crisis", I have requested that all the food served comes from local farms and markets. I absolutely can not wait for the dinner part of the venue, bon appetit!

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
