My social innovation heroes fight against hate
I chose The Working Group as my social innovation heroes, as they tackle something I feel very strongly about: hate and intolerance. Their Not In Our Town series of videos and events are very powerful tools that work to bring people together and empower them to take action against hate speech and hate crimes.
While poverty, famine, recession and so on are terrible things, I believe hate and intolerance are the insidious evil. You can't fix hate with money, or resources, or technology, not directly. Intolerant people don't want to be helpe, don't want to change. In their eyes, their hate is justified. And they love to spread it. So this is why I think that someone like TWG is to be admired and supported.
I am subscribed to their newsletter and their YouTube channel and I have sent them an e-mail to let them know they are social innovations heroes for an EVOKE agent.

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal.
