A crash course in changing the world.
New way to power something used daily
The challenge for this assignment is to take something we have and learn a way to "power" this item in a totally new and different way.l
For the items I have available -- I immediately think of my cell phone. I tyically charge the phone by electricity in my home and, unfortunately leave the charger in the outlet -- even when not in use. When I use the cell phone, I open up many applications, which eventually drains the battery power of the phone much quicker than it would if I did not. Because of leaving these applications open after use, I end up powering up the mobile phone more often than necessary.
A plan is simple: either charge up the phone by electrical means, use the application, close it and, turn off the phone EVERY evening. Or, charge the phone when driving in the car, not using the applications except for so many times a week,closing them after use and shutting down the phone again, every evening.
The end result is less use of electrical power in the home, by carrying out one or both of the items above.

The meal
It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal.
