Powering your everyday devices Sustainably
My idea uses two technologies, one emmerging, and one existing.
Believe it or not, wireless electricity has been created! By having a device that resonates with a source device, electrical energy can be sent through air, and walking in between the two sensors does not interfear with it at all. Not only that, it is safe for people to be around.
So, my idea for powering everyday devices, is to have one large device somewhere under the floor of a house. This will be tuned into a 'public frequency' for the resonation process. Every public and private home can have this system, and have their devices tuned into this frequency, as well as their own private ones. The general idea is that the main resonating device is powered by solar pannels on the roof of the buidling. Energy is captured from the sun, and then radiated throughout the house. The idea is that when someone walks in, their phone and other protable devices start charging.
This will therefore use energy we would other wise throw away. And, other appliances can be tuned to this frequency, such as mp3 players, tv controls, and others. This would save on the amount of energy we use, or rather, capture wasted energy, and have it distributed to devices when we need them charged- when we are close to power, but without the charger.

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal.
