In my look into Exhibit A, I found 3 things that I thought were the most important ways of sparking innovation:
- Think like a child – children have no limit to their thinking.
- Talk to the people who have the problem – and LISTEN to what they have to say.
- Go to where the action is.
In my opinion, these 3 "secrets" are the best ways of sparking innovation and seeing how to improve. The problem cannot be solved by those who don't fully understand the problem; an outsider viewing in can be a great way of seeing the bigger picture, thinking like a child will also make it easier to think outside the box, see that unrealistic goal and go for it anyway without thinking about the potential obstacles on the way.
