A crash course in changing the world.
I've been milling over this question for the last week, trying to be creative and come up with something pratical that I would actually be able to implement in my own life, and I've finally decided that the best thing that I can do to improve energy efficiency in my own life, is in fact many small things. A basic list is below, but you get the idea that almost every single thing I do on a daily basis can be effected.
1. Use a normal toothbrush, rather than an electric one.
2. Shorten my time in the shower
3. Open the blinds in the mornings, rather than turning on the lights
4. Change out my lightbulbs to lower-wattage bulbs
5. Turn off my computer when I'm not using it.
6. Take the stairs at work, not the elevator.
